Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
When you contact us through our website, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the content of your message.
When you book the first class of your free week, we collect your name, your phone number (required), and your email address if you choose to give it. We also record who is training, the class you want to try, and any note you add. If a child is training, we ask for the child's age so we can suggest the right class. We do not ask for the child's name. To stop automated or repeated booking requests, we also store a hashed form of the IP address the booking came from.
When you check in for a class on our check-in page, we record the name you enter, the class, and the time you checked in. To stop automated check-ins, we also store a hashed form of the IP address the check-in came from.
When you purchase a membership or day pass, payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed by Square — that data never touches our servers.
How We Use It
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to inquiries about classes, schedules, or pricing.
- Call or text you to confirm a free-week booking and the date of your first class.
- Keep a record of who came to each class.
- Limit repeated or automated booking requests and check-ins.
- Process membership signups and day-pass purchases.
- Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, schedule changes, receipts from Square).
- Contact you about your specific account or membership when needed.
We do not sell your information, share it with marketing networks, or use it for targeted advertising.
Third Parties
We use a small set of service providers to operate the studio:
- Square handles all payment processing and subscription management. Card data is held by Square (a PCI Level 1 processor) and never reaches our servers.
- Postmark delivers transactional email on our behalf (contact-form and free-week booking notifications to our staff, signup confirmations).
- Vercel hosts the website and routes traffic.
- Neon hosts the small Postgres database that stores contact-form submissions, free-week booking requests, and class check-ins.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and security posture; we use them because they are the standard tools for small studios in our category.
No Analytics
We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site. Vercel collects anonymous server-side request logs for operational reasons (error monitoring, traffic shaping); those logs are not used to profile visitors.
Data Retention
Contact-form submissions are retained for one year after your last interaction with the studio, after which they are deleted. Active memberships retain the data necessary to manage your subscription for the life of the account plus one year. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
We keep free-week booking requests so we can arrange your first class and follow up with you afterward. To have yours deleted, email info@abolicaotrainingcenter.com and we will delete it. The hashed IP address stored with a booking is erased automatically within about two days.
Class check-ins are deleted automatically after 90 days. The hashed IP address stored with a check-in is erased automatically after 2 days. Records of when staff start and close check-in for a class, and which staff account did it, are also deleted after 90 days.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time. You can also cancel your subscription directly via the link in your Square receipt email. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.
